In this episode, Annick van Rinsum speaks with futurists and co-founders of de Chrononauten; Christiaan Fruneaux and Edwin Gardner. They talk about their interest in Big History to understand the world we live in. They propose to stretch our perception of the now to ’the long now’; adding our past and our future to our understanding of the present, so that we can make more informed choices. In the current long now, they are interested in examining how (social) trust has been organized. In the digital age of polarization, they explore how to design new architectures of trust.
