Join the third Samen Tegen Racisme Academy session and learn all about Community Organizing!

Following two Academy sessions on Strategy and Tools for Organizing, this session will focus specifically on Community Organizing.

More and more people want to come together as a community to create change in their neighbourhood, city or society. But how do you build a community in a world centred around individualism? What does community mean? What are the conditions needed for community organizing? And how do you bring people together to form a community?

During this interactive workshop, we will explore what community means and how we can organize together. This can range from residents joining forces to organizations seeking collaboration and actively organizing for change.

Facilitator: Sorab Roustayar
The workshop will be facilitated by Sorab Roustayar, founder of We Reclaim Our Pride and Stichting Fite Qlub, and co-founder of Stichting Queer Amsterdam.
