Written in the aftermath of a life-altering diagnosis, The Tunnel of Hope traces a human journey through illness, burnout, identity loss and unexpected renewal, from hospitals and therapy rooms to basketball courts, classrooms and moments of stillness. With this book, Florent Coudyser explores what it means to live when certainty disappears and the body becomes unfamiliar territory.

Join us for a 90-minute shared ceremony of presence: readings, a short film and stillness.

Some texts are carried by others.
Music holds what words cannot.
Silence is part of the programme.

About the author

Florent Coudyser is an Amsterdam-based expansion strategist, entrepreneur and university lecturer. After a diagnosis of ALS, a progressive neurodegenerative disease, he re-examined what it means to lead, live and succeed. He is the author of The Tunnel of Hope, a reflective memoir published by The Choir Press in April 2026.

“Your book is beautifully written, without force, just space to pause, feel, reflect. It is a message of hope, acceptance, and triumph.”  – Heidi, reader, Barcelona
