Because we believe that livable, inclusive, prosperous and sustainable cities are a result of the joint efforts of civil society organisations, public authorities, knowledge institutions, pioneering City Makers and businesses, Pakhuis de Zwijger will start up a City Embassy in Quito to bring these stakeholders together on a regular basis.
As Fabrica Ciudad (Urban Factory or ‘Make the City’) we will programme from 29th of August till 28 of October with a focus on social innovation, City Makers’ practices and new forms of governance. During Habitat III local City Makers will be connected to renowned international speakers and incoming delegacies.
