How can you report on a war as a journalist when you are the target yourself? In the shadow of the war between Iran and the United States, a battle is unfolding in Lebanon that receives far less attention. For Frontlinie, Bram Vermeulen travels to South Lebanon, where since the outbreak of the war between Israel and Hezbollah, several fellow journalists have been killed in targeted Israeli attacks. Who were they? And why were they murdered?
Following the screening of the latest episode of Frontlinie, we will engage in a discussion with Bram Vermeulen and a journalist from the region.
Journalist Amal Khalil killed in Israeli attack in at-Tiri, Lebanon’s Al Akhbar reports.
