Diaspora Dialogen is a serie of programs created by Pakhuis de Zwijger to platform underrepresented diasporas within Amsterdam and The Netherlands. We invite members of different diasporic communities to share their experiences in the Netherlands, both good and bad, and to engage in dialogue about more sensitive subjects meant to be discussed within the community itself. These dialogues are meant to highlight these communities and bring forth discussions on topics relevant to the diasporas.

In this first edition of ‘Diaspora Dialogen’ we invite professionals for the Dutch-Caribbean islands (ABCSSS) to share their experience across the Atlantic. The speakers will engage the audience about their work and projects, how these are relevant to the community and why they do it. After a short introduction by each speaker, the moderator will open the floor for an interactive discussion between both the panelists and the audience.
