Join author, psychotherapist and lecturer, Jeremy Sachs for the launch of his first book, An Intersectional Guide for Male Survivors of Sexual Abuse and Their Allies. He will be joined by Thomas Garrod-Pullar, Director of MenAsWell, the Dutch expertise centre for male+ survivors of sexual assault. Discussions will focus on how the book was created using survivor testimonies and years of survivor group work, the intersectional needs that men of different identities bring to healing and the use of transformative justice principles to support healing outside of potentially oppressive statutory systems.
