How can we design in a time of metacrisis? Overlapping global challenges such as climate change, economic instability, social inequality, and technological destruction require radically rethinking our current systems. In these complex and uncertain contexts, we call on everyone and designers everywhere to move beyond aesthetic solutions, embracing systems thinking, resilience, adaptability, and, most of all, inclusion.

After our first edition of Designing Cities for All (DCFA) programme, we rebooted with the sub- theme of Re-generation in 2023. This programme focuses on the role of design in (re)shaping and (re)creating regenerative cities by, for and with everyone and every living thing. Following two years of first DCFA edition and our first two essay books in 2021 (read 18 Perspectives on Designing Cities for All online here) and 2022 ( read More Perspectives on Designing Cities for All now we are proud to present our third and final DCFA book! Closing Perspectives on Designing Cities for All is a brand new collection of essays by designers, researchers, urbanists and other experts in the fields in which inclusive design is at the fore.
