On 3 May we mark World Press Freedom Day. This year’s theme is ‘Journalism without Fear or Favour’. While some countries can celebrate their free press, censorship and misinformation are still a reality in many regions of the world. In this special edition of Emerging Stories, photojournalist Kadir van Lohuizen has a conversation with international (photo)journalists about freedom and how media are proving their resilience within an increasingly complex media landscape, especially during the COVID-19 crisis.
