What goes into a night out? Together with Peter van der Wal, also known as The Sinful Son, we dive into the people shaping nightlife. How do you design a nightclub? How does a team preserve social safety while always opening possibilities for adventure? How do the values and identity of a club translate into the dancefloor? And what has The Sinful Son learned from capturing the queer community in all its beauty and intensity. His book ‘Beautiful Creatures’ is a stark reminder that being seen is both resistance and celebration. A programme during Amsterdam Dance Event combining a talk, an exhibition and drinks.
