The central question throughout the conference day is: How can improved urban knowledge sharing regarding the WEF-nexus contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals? The conference is part of the Closer Cities urban research project (initiative by Erasmus University Rotterdam and several partners): between 2021 and 2030, this research-driven project aims to develop a better understanding of processes of knowledge sharing.

During three rounds of 45 minutes, various topics on the WEF-nexus will be discussed. Organizations hosting a table include TNO, Deltares, TU Delft, Arcadis, and Unie van Waterschappen. The table hosts will discuss their specific case (a challenge, an actual project with certain challenges, what can be improved, opportunities in the field of scalability).

Flevo Campus will present it’s research findings on ‘Supermarkt van de Toekomst’.
