Celebrate Women’s Day by hearing the stories of the Badass Women who built Amsterdam. Throughout the centuries, Amsterdam women have built a life for themselves and pursued their dreams despite all the barriers in their way. This storytelling performance explores the themes of their stories and connects them to modern life. Come get inspired by the past and find hope for the future.

About Badass Tours:
Badass Tours uses storytelling to connect people to Amsterdam’s hidden history. Through tours and performances at museums and cultural venues, they introduce figures from Amsterdam’s African, Asian, Caribbean, Jewish, LGBTQ+, and women’s history. The stories are meticulously researched and focus on individuals in order to forge an emotional connection between audiences and the past. Badass Tours has toured thousands of tourists and Amsterdammers, received support from the European Union’s COSME program to make these stories more widely available, and performed at venues as diverse as the Jewish Museum, Amsterdam Museum, and Paradiso.
