Jeffrey Heiligers
Jeffrey Heiligers is the founder of The Future Prospects Lab and 1m2 Collective, where he uses design as a tool to help businesses and institutions rethink their strategies and develop innovative solutions—ones that are both grounded in reality and open to the visionary.
A central thread in his practice is democratising the process—making sure that design is not just something done for people, but with them. Through an inclusive, collaborative approach, he works to make innovation more open, participatory, and accessible to all.
With a background in mechanical engineering and industrial design, Jeffrey brings a systems-thinking approach to his work. He has a sharp eye for identifying flaws in existing structures, uncovering assumptions, and reframing challenges—bridging analytical insight with creative exploration to unlock new ways of thinking.
Rosa Smits
My participatory art practice celebrates the connective power of weaving by inviting others to join in with their hands, voices, and creativity. In a screen-driven, mass-produced world, I aim to revive the beauty of handmade craft and inspire a shift toward being, well-being, and togetherness over having.
