Caribbean Show & Tell is a new platform where art becomes a conversation. During this premiere edition, we spotlight artists whose work draws from, bends and expands the Caribbean music canon. The process of cultural blending that characterises the Caribbean continues to be embodied in these artists and how they transmute their experiences here in the Netherlands. Join for a sonic exploration where moderator Tamacoochies guides an intimate listening session from behind the dj booth, inviting artists to share music from their catalog, past releases and future (possibly unreleased) work. Utilising the show & tell format, tracks are played, unpacked and contextualised: from lyrical narratives and production choices to cultural references and personal inspiration.
