For this edition of Queer City we are creating a space for community, care and solidarity. As community organizing keeps bringing challenges for BIPOC Trans and Queer communities due to lack of resources, recognition and spaces.
We are calling for solidarity by giving the stage to trans and Queer artists, activists and community organizers that have been working on removing oppressive mechanisms and giving a voice to unheard voices. Expect intimate stories, conversations and performances of belonging, reconnecting and solidarity from BIPOC Trans and Queer creatives that have resisted by finding an authentic way to create it and develop a community.
Join us to celebrate the last season’s edition of Queer City: A World of Decolonization and help us build a new upcoming season.
