'Normal' behavioral codes or the use of language can be shocking for one and ordinary for the other. How do we deal with different insights and interpretation of what it means to act normally? In this workshop, the participants will gain awareness about their own prejudices, stereotypes, and attitudes towards intercultural diversity. The purpose is to explore their own backgrounds and resources for engaging in intercultural interactions with other participants in the group.
The workshop will follow an experiential learning methodology, in which through a serie of couple and group games, participants will explore questions about normality, similarity/difference and intercultural interactions, all facilitated within a safe and shared discussion space. Finally, together we will support the participants to visualize and enact the resources they bring for responding to intercultural situations.
