On April 25, 2015 a dreadful 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal. This week, Tuesday May 12, Nepal was shaken up with another strong earthquake. With a daily rising death toll and buildings in rubble, the impact of this disaster is a devastation for the country. With the emergency relief underway, but the recovery efforts not even started, the need for basic supplies is ever growing.

During this evening we celebrate the beauty of Nepal and support its people. Jimmy Nelson, well-known international photographer, tells about his experience in Nepal during his visit to Mustang. Between 2010 & 2014 Jimmy Nelson travelled the world to document some of the most fantastic indigenous cultures left on the planet today in his series Before They Pass Away. Jimmy will show an exclusive video clip and auctions a picture. Musical contributions are given by singer/songwriter Rina Mushonga and Sharad Joshi. Being Nepalese himself, Sharad will share his personal story. The evening is hosted by presenter Daphne Bunskoek and actress Miryanna van Reeden.

Entrance price for this event will be €10 (payment in cash upon arrival). All proceeds of this event will go to The Cloudbase Foundation in Nepal. The Cloudbase Foundation is a not for profit organization made up of paragliders who provide currently emergency relief support in remote areas in Nepal deeply affected by the earthquake.
